Originally built in 1973, the Cliff Lodge & Spa has since doubled in size and increased dramatically in amenities and services since then. Offering three restaurants, two lounges, two swimming pools, four hot tubs, extensive meeting space and Snowbird's only ski-in/ski-out accessibility, the Cliff Lodge & Spa is the flagship of the four lodging properties at Snowbird. Guests of the Cliff Lodge & Spa don't have to worry about toting their gear back to their room as each room and unit is assigned a convenient indoor locker in the Level 1 locker room. Lockers includes boot dryers, shelves and plenty of space for your skis and snowboard. Camp Snowbird is the resort's comprehensive, state-licensed daycare facility with an on-premises kitchen and nursery for infants 6 weeks and older. Camp Snowbird offers a seamless integration with the resort's renowned Mountain School to smoothly incorporate lessons on the nearby Chickadee Run and throughout the mountain with customary daycare offerings such as games, movies, arts and crafts and naps. The Cliff Lodge & Spa's dining options include the romantic Aerie Restaurant on the 10th floor with an attached lounge and Sushi Bar featuring live music twice a week during the winter. El Chanate features exceptional Mexican food and the state's largest tequila selection in the El Chanate Cantina. The Atrium Restaurant sits at the base of the 11-story glass wall offering breathtaking views of the mountain as well as a buffet lunch and breakfast offerings. The hotel guest pool and three hot tubs are located outdoors on Level 3 and are heated year round. Find all the gifts to take home as well as necessities at Cliff Sundries on Level C. The nearby Marco Polo Silk Road Treasure offers an amazing selection of tasteful items personally selected from markets around the world. The Cliff Lodge & Spa also offers wireless Internet throughout the property, a business center, a ballroom, meeting rooms, a ski shop with full rental facilities, a ticket window, Mountain School office, concierge and entertainment throughout the winter. The Cliff Lodge & Spa Game Room is located on Level A and consists of pool table, arcade games, and air hockey. Summer of 2006 marked the completion of a $5.6 million renovation to the Cliff Lodge & Spa that includes completely revamped rooms with new furnishings, flat screen televisions, and new bathroom tile, fixtures and art.
