Whitney's inn

Whitney's Inn has been one of New Hampshire's premier destination resorts since the 1840s, welcoming both couples and families with its charming guest rooms, superb dining in the rustic Shovel Handle Pub, its beautifully maintained grounds, and proximity to skiing with next door neighbor, Black Mountain Ski Resort and Attitash Ski Resort, only a 20-minute drive. Whitney's Inn has five distinctive guest room styles to meet each guest's every need. Sixteen of the twenty-six rooms are located within the main inn. There is als eight two-rooms suites at Liftline Lodge next to Black Mountain and two two-bedroom cottages. Whitney's Inn is the only lodging property in the area with both downhill and cross-country skiing just outside its doors. Whitney's Inn was renovated in 2005 to rave reviews and again in 2007, this time Adirondack style. Hickory log, pine log, and farmhouse style furniture and decor have been added to all guest rooms and common areas. All areas have fresh paint, wallpaper, carpet, artwork, and so much more. Professionally appointed by local designer, Lisa MacAllister, the doors re-opened on 12/26/07 and guests are already experiencing mountain magic.
