The village of Silver Star has everything an outdoor enthusiast could wish for - superb snow, endless activities, and a genuine sense of community. The only thing missing was a truly first-class lodge with all the amenities to enhance the Silver Star experience. New for Winter 2006-2007, the Snowbird Lodge is located at the slopeside end of the Village and offers 54 suites with spectacular views of the Monashee Mountains and the front side of Silver Star ski area. There is no better ski-in/ski-out accommodation on the hill. Current amenities at Snowbird Lodge include a 24-seat theater, fitness room, family lounge with billiards, heated underground parking, and equipment locker and wax room. A swimming pool and hot tub will be completed in 2008.
